ICCM Argentina started in 1995. It now consists of weekend programs in the towns of Carmen de Areco and Salto. Carmen de Areco is a town of 12,000, located two hours’ drive from the capital of Buenos Aires. The town is plagued by partying and drug addiction, with many parents and kids, struggling. The Free Methodist Church provides a program for the children on Saturdays and Sundays to give them a safe place to be on the weekends. Sponsored children enjoy competitions and games, singing and dancing, sports, study time and many other activities. The program is wonderfully successful in leadership development and is redeeming an entire generation in the town. The second program in Argentina is located in Salto. Salto is located approximately a 40-minute drive west of Carmen de Areco. The church in Salto provides a similar program to Carmen de Areco for the children of the community of Salto.
