ICCM Liberia opened in 2016. Liberia struggles with the “resource curse,” unstable government, and limited infrastructure. We sponsor children in one school – Zuezohn Free Methodist World Mission School, in the Try and See Community (Grand Bassa Local Government Area). The school is only accessible from the main road, by motorbike or walking – a 45-minute trek, crossing over water four times. A bore hole on the school site provides the only source of clean water for the children and their families. Recently, a “modern” toilet (pit latrine) was constructed, providing an even more safe and sanitary environment for the children. ICCM’s commitment to helping the “whole” child is being consistently carried out in this remote community in Liberia.
