Every Child: Loved, Safe, and Developing
We Believe that financially generative, self-sustaining resources for struggling neighborhoods will empower Rochester’s health, growth, leadership.... & kids!
My family has seen the hope of Rochester. We’ve seen this community coming together for the sake of her people. We’ve watched closely as economics and demographics have shifted over the years, often creating uncertainly for thousands who call this city their home. And we’ve watched and joined with Rochester’s leaders to realize dreams of overcoming poverty and seeking justice. Our city is not idle! She dreams and lives!
We know that poverty is pervasive in our homes. We know that many children have an uphill battle to climb, and many residents and refugees are ill equipped to escape systemic oppression. Yet, with valuable partners and committed leaders, we know that the consequences of poverty do not and will not define our city.
We are bringing together compassionate organizations and leaders to offer solutions that can heal and restore our neighborhoods. We trust that when you join us, our voices will resonate throughout the city with a message of hope.

We envision office and shared workspaces for new and existing business within select Rochester neighborhoods. Established leases for compassionate businesses will serve as the foundation for sustaining Resource Centers that provides culinary, business, legal, and technology education to local residents.
Rochester entrepreneurs are going to lease office space somewhere. When they lease with us, they empower connections to services necessary for families to break the cycle of poverty.
Starting with Marketview Heights, a Resource Center will provide critical needs required for revitalizing the community. This prototype will serve as part of a larger project aimed at similar transformations in other Rochester regions. Each center will leverage community assets, partners, and external resources to promote holistic health for residents. Programs and opportunities will focus on 4 areas of development: Education, Human Services, Business, and access to Healthcare.
Initiatives of the center include expansion of the Children’s Community Garden. This Field-to-Table Program will address dietary and culinary needs, creating accessible, healthy food options for families with children. The program will expose families to a variety of culinary arts, including culinary instructions in a live-streaming and on-site kitchen environment.
The Business Development Program will promote, train, and foster innovative ideas from members of the Marketview Heights community and the greater Rochester area. Local experts will mentor, train, and support would-be young professionals and entrepreneurs from the community. The center will also aim to provide the space necessary for start-ups to launch their ventures.
Rochester welcomes many new refugee and asylee families every year, often into poverty scenarios. The Resource Center will provide significant assistance in helping migrant families acclimate and contribute to our city’s economy and future. With a proven track record of success, New Hope Immigration Legal Services (NHILS) will deepen its partnership with the community to further provide affordable legal aid to migrant families in the area. These services include assistance with citizenship, Green Cards, work authorizations, connecting families, passports, visas, and more.
As local professionals lease private office space and meeting rooms, they provide core funding for utilizing the space in ways that combat poverty, fight hunger, and educate a budding workforce.
We welcome and thank you for your support through the following options.
The greatest expression of our hope is to love God, which includes loving others; to be part of the healing of brokenness in all its forms, for all people. We love because of Jesus. ICCM is a department of The Free Methodist Church, USA, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit.
