ICCM children in Togo praying for their sponsors

Six a.m. Wednesday, August 14, do you remember what you were doing at that moment? Around 6 a.m.-9 a.m. (CST), you weren’t aware of it, but during those hours, you, an ICCM sponsor, were being prayed for!

In Lomé, Togo, West Africa, a small group of ICCM children along with their mothers, spent three hours at the Free Methodist church praying for “all things related” to ICCM but specifically praying for sponsors.

  • They prayed for God to grant you good health.
  • They asked the Lord to bless you for your giving hearts.
  • They petitioned the Father to show His faithfulness to you and your families.
  • They prayed for the current sponsors and new ones!

Then they prayed some more — over and over again, thanking God for the gifts they have received through their ICCM sponsors. It was encouraging. It was moving. And as they prayed for me, it was humbling.

God moved in my heart, and I hope, though you weren’t aware of the prayers going up on your behalf, you were also moved and that today, tomorrow, and in the days to come, you’ll sense God answering the prayers of the children.
